March 14 is this year’s designated World Sleep Day by the World Association of Sleep Medicine (WASM). This organization, composed by medical professionals all over the globe, aims to raise further awareness about sleep and how it affects health through informational drives and dissemination of educational tidbits via forums, conferences, and events.
